Great Harvest Bread Co. - Lafayette

The breads are large and freshly baked every day. Be sure to check their daily bread menu, as it changes regularly. Just because you’ve purchased a certain item before doesn’t guarantee it will be available during your next visit. I’ve gone hoping for a specific type of bread only to find it wasn’t made that day, but I never leave empty-handed, haha! My only concern is that their breads are a bit pricey, ranging from around $6.50 to $9.00, so the total can add up quickly. However, you can taste the quality in their ingredients, and their breads are definitely worth it.

This place is a jewel in the rough. Customer service is phenomenal and the food is mouthwater. I'll put the Roast-Rind sandwich back completely, but with Cheddar instead of Provolone. If I could afford it, I would ever eat a day here! Although the prices here are great. Let’s not forget to mention that they have an absolutely amazing selection of really delicious desserts!!!! I eat every chance I can!

Love the selection of breads, muffins scenes and other foods. The oatmeal chocolate cookies are skurril. The cinnamon raisin bread is a family favorite. When relatives come to town, they always want to stop here to get goodies.

Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and was eager to help the customers. The bread was very good and our sandwiches were very good and delicious. In any case will come back to try other foods.

If it weren't for concerns like diabetes and bankruptcy, I could happily survive on their bayou breads and extreme cinnamon breads. The owner and staff consistently brighten my day when I visit this hidden gem.
