Carlo's Trattori - Lagrangeville

I've been going to Carlos Trattoria since the first day they opened, and I've always been very happy and happy. The food they serve is not your everyday Italian restaurant menu. It is an experience for your mouth to enjoy and enjoy. My family enjoys the peculiarities that the boss puts on the menu every week that never bores us. The family atmosphere makes you feel at home. If you haven't traveled to Northern Italy? Carlos Trattoria is as close as you can get on a plane without a long flight.

Nice atmosphere, service is very pleasant . The cocktails were $12, but very tasty and worth it. Good size portions. Interesting build your own concept for entrees .

First, I want to highlight how wonderful our server, Melissa, was. She was incredibly attentive and accommodating. I often face challenges when dining out because many restaurants use Styrofoam, which my friend is allergic to. If I forget my Tupperware and we’re stuck using Styrofoam, it really bothers me due to my aversion to unnecessary waste and disposable food containers. Melissa understood this and kindly offered to wrap our leftovers in foil instead. The options for the New Year’s Eve menu were fantastic, and I’ll include a photo of it. The fixed-price menu was definitely worth every penny, and I thoroughly enjoyed the twin lobster as my choice. The portions were generous but not overly so, meaning we were able to take home any leftovers without feeling like we had too much. What a relief! In my restaurant reviews, I weigh service and food equally, at 50% each. A place has no redeeming qualities if both are lacking. Good service is particularly important to me, as I live with Asperger's syndrome and need to feel welcomed when I dine out. Unfortunately, that hasn’t always been the case, and I've had some harrowing experiences with servers who ignored me or acted unprofessionally. I once had a server shout at me for not understanding how a fixed-price menu worked. These experiences have led me to leave negative reviews, letting owners know it’s not worth paying for such poor treatment. However, Carlos Trattoria provided both excellent food and outstanding service. I can't wait to return and bring my whole family next time!

For the first time, my husband and I were really pleased with the food. It was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Fruita De Mare and my husband had a perfectly cooked steak. Both dishes were outstanding. We've discovered a new favorite restaurant. It's often difficult to find a really good meal in this area, but not here. It was just SO GOOD!!!

I’m giving Carlos 4 stars instead of 5 simply because I'm comparing it to all restaurants, including outstanding ones like Le Petit Bistro in Rhinebeck. I've probably dined here hundreds of times and have never had a bad meal. The food is excellent and offers great value, definitely above average. Be sure to try their daily specials! The atmosphere is also lovely, and they serve Voodoo Ranger IPA on tap!
