Maro Wood Grill - Laguna Beach

The food was incredible! It was one of the best meals I've had in quite some time. Be sure to save room for dessert—it's a must!

I was visiting from London with my friends from Mexico, and the staff member insisted we speak English, which felt quite rude. Additionally, our orders took a long time to arrive, and the food did not meet our expectations considering the price.

Marks burger is perfect. The roasted vegetables are amazing. Empanadas are delicious.

First time had high hopes. Ordered appetizers within a few minutes of being seated after seeing reviews say food arrived slowly. Took 40 minutes to get two empanadas and grilled artichokes. The empanadas were VERY small at the cost of $6 each!!! We were so hungry waiting that we didn’t take pictures. Should have been twice the size or at least two for the price. They were very good, but not worth $6 each. We were so annoyed after the subpar artichokes and the very small empanadas and how long it took to get our food, we left after appetizers and wine. The ONE waiter (or owner for all I know) was so dismissive and could care less that we were not happy. We walked by this restaurant for years and always wondered about it. No longer. BIG disappointment and do not recommend!
