Hendrix - Laguna Niguel

One of our favorite restaurants!! 1st class all the way around!!

A nice location, and service but a bit slow. The food is pretty good but a bit pricey for the quality. The marguerita pizza was soggy, too much sauce and cheese.

The service was really slow especially considering it was not busy. We waited for drinks and, despite ordering dinner WITH the drinks, waited much longer for the food. The lamb was tough and hard and an $8 side of asparagus was 4 spears, really? I would not go back.

Hendrix has been one of my favorite local restaurants since it opened. The food and friendly service has always been some of the best. I am hoping last night was a one off . Our server Lindsay was nice when she was available. We, only two of us, placed our order at 6:15 and didn 't see her or the food until 7: 15. We had to track her down to ask when our food was coming. We were told the pizza hadn 't been made yet but the salmon was available if we wanted to eat that first. The salmon was my order and my niece ordered the pizza. We waited to eat together. According to my niece, the pizza was good. My salmon was cold and over cooked. All in all it was a very disappointing experience for a restaurant that is usually very good. I 'll return with the hopes that it was a bad night.

I consistently find the food disappointing, and the restaurant is often chilly and drafty.
