I must begin this review by expressing my complete shock and disappointment at the dreadful experience my companions and I had at Moldy Bites, also known as Friar's Nook restaurant. This is a DISNEY restaurant in a first-world country, and we were appalled by what we encountered. To our dismay, we found that the bread served to us was covered in mold. This was an alarming and dangerous oversight by the restaurant, as consuming moldy bread can pose serious health risks. It was unsettling to realize that we had unknowingly eaten moldy bread during our meal. Since the mold was hidden on the back of the bread, we didn’t notice it until the end, meaning we ingested a significant amount without any awareness of the potential health hazards involved. Upon discovering the mold, we immediately informed the restaurant staff and the manager. However, their response was completely disheartening. Instead of showing genuine concern and taking necessary actions to resolve the issue, they exhibited a shocking lack of accountability, suggesting that we’d be fine if we weren’t allergic to mold. Are you kidding me? All they offered was a refund for the meal, as though that could somehow compensate for the gravity of the situation. Their indifference to the serious health risks we faced due to their negligence is deeply troubling and unacceptable. The manager even claimed she was in medical school and assured us that we would be fine if we did not have mold allergies—really? Consuming moldy bread is a serious issue that should never be trivialized. Mold produces mycotoxins, which are harmful substances that can lead to a range of health issues, including allergies, respiratory problems, and gastrointestinal disturbances. Friar's Nook's failure to take immediate and effective action regarding the moldy bread incident demonstrates a concerning lack of care for their customers' well-being. I cannot stress enough how dangerous it is to consume food contaminated with mold. It is fundamentally the restaurant's responsibility to ensure that the food they serve is safe for consumption. Unfortunately, Friar's Nook and DISNEY's Guest Services have shown a complete lack of regard for this responsibility, and their inadequate response to the situation is profoundly disappointing. Due to this distressing experience and the restaurant's careless attitude towards customer safety, I strongly advise against dining at Friar's Nook until they show a genuine commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction. The potential health risks associated with moldy food are far too serious to ignore, and your well-being should never be compromised for a meal. In conclusion, my experience at Friar's Nook was nothing short of a disaster. The restaurant's negligence in serving us moldy bread without taking appropriate action to address the issue is unacceptable. I hope my review serves as a warning to others and encourages Friar's Nook to reevaluate their practices, prioritize food safety, and treat their customers' health and safety with the seriousness it deserves. We even approached Disney Guest Services at the park, but they seemed indifferent to our concerns. We have also consulted with our lawyer, who is gathering information on this matter. If anyone else has had similar experiences, please let me know.

Chuck and another young lady at the restaurant were incredibly helpful! I accidentally ordered the wrong dish, and they went out of their way to assist me. They truly enhance the Disney experience. Thank you, Chuck!

This is a fantastic spot to watch the parade, provided you can secure a seat outdoors.

I thought the Bacon Mac and Cheese Tots were delicious and definitely large enough to share between two people! The food was fresh and didn’t look or taste like it has been sitting around all day. It was 12$ for the tots which is a little pricey but also about what I expect from food at Disney World. We also tried the Apple Pecan Hand Pie and the Curried Brat Tots which were both very good as well. This place is in Fantasyland and close to Philharmagic so it’s a good spot to people watch, relax and had plenty of seating too which is always nice!

The food here is fast and really good for quick service. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and tots. The tater tots stole the show they were really delicious. Also the cinnamon bites were amazing.
