El Paso Mexican - Lake Charles

This is one of the most authentic restaurants of Mexican cuisine in the area. Very recommended! The manager Carlos and the staff are great people, Divie took care of me, she is a master in her craft!

We frequent El Paso, the food and service is al excellent. If you are looking for a lot of heat I highly recommend the Habanero salsa!

Food was delicious. We really enjoyed it. The server was friendly. Unfortunately the service stopped when we received our food. The dropped our food and disappeared, making us unable to tell her I was missing my beans that came with my meal, and we didn't get the side of tortillas we ordered. We waited and waited but she never came by. Eventually we gave up on the beans and tortillas and finished our meal without them. We then waaaaaaited for her to come by so we could get our check. Someone else saw us looking around and finally went to go her her. Awesome food. Super disappointing service.

The food was very good, and fast. But, the drinks weren't good at all, and I didn't even get mine. Also, it was the Servers' 1st or 3rd day, but I don't blame her. Because, everyone has to learn the job.

My tacos were great! However the flies and stickiness of the tables and floors was not a positive. I think there may be issues with the air/ ventilation.
