My fiancée came to visit and began to feel sick and had eaten nothing. He said he wanted some light. Like soup or something to see if that would help to calm his stomach. So, what better place to get a delicious soup, but Panera bread is located on Nelson Road Lake Charles La near Lauberge Hotel and Casino and Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. I ordered a Chicken Noodle soup bowl for him and for myself I ordered Turkey Panini and a cup of vegetable soup and a strawberry Banana smoothie. Everything was absolutely delicious. I had visited Panera Bread a few times before buying pastries and cookies for the holiday. I always had a great experience and the staff is always very nice and accommodating. My only complaint is sometimes the drive-thru service. It's always really slow on the Theo window, but in all fairness, waiting is definitely worth it.
