Marine Village Resort - Lake George

Have been going here for years, wouldn't stay anywhere else. Staff is awesome, and place is spotless. Rachel is very outgoing and makes sure everything is perfect. The little perks they offer are a nice gesture- root beer float, tacos, pasta, smores. Walk to town etc is easy and don't need your car unless doing a day trip

I would NOT recommend this property. We had a family emergency, my husband was in a bad motorcycle accident and was hospitalized with several injuries. I had to cancel our stay at Marine Village Resort due to the accident which occurred 1 week before we were supposed to be in Lake George. The property refused to waive the cancellation fee...which was almost $500... because it was not within their 21 day cancellation policy. We fully intended 21 days out to go to Lake George for my son's tournament. The only reason we cancelled was BECAUSE of the accident. I understand under normal circumstances the 21 day cancellation policy should hold, however, these were circumstances beyond our control.

Another great trip. Everything is always so easy and convenient. Rachel and Sandy are always so accommodating. Location is perfect, staff is helpful. Our family looks forward to our trip every year. Until Next Year

King bed lakeside view. 2 people, room size small, but all we needed, will definitely come back. Room was clean, great price. Had a very nice stay met very nice people. Grounds/beach very well kept.Rooms: Clean, great price and perfect location.Food drinks: Enjoyed the pizza at Capri

I paid a considerable amount for a "lakeside" room and had requested one that was closest to the beach well in advance. Instead, I was assigned room 27, which I wouldn't recommend. The view was disappointing, as it overlooked the parking lot, and to catch a glimpse of the lake, we had to step out to the parking area. The beach was cramped and crowded, with a very limited swimming area. On the positive side, the location is nice, but the room itself was dated with peeling wallpaper. The rooms are small but clean, and you can walk to most places.
