Bidra med feedbackOutstanding.. Great location. Great food. It's an all-time favorite. The cosy atmosphere with the fireplace makes it a great destination for special occasions. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
Great!. Salmon and chicken was good. Strawberry rhubarb pie was off the charts! Great service from Dale and a couple trains rolled by as well.
Traveller. Fantastic Fish Chips! They serve halibut! My partner had the Prime Rib perfectly cooked. The service was wonderful. Great ambiance. I would highly recommend this place to travelers.
Lake Louise Station Restaurant which is a hidden gem, tucked away and seasonal! We were quite lucky to get a table as we didn’t even make any reservations!... I knew I wanted to warm up with a spicy Virgin Caesar and it was delicious! Once we ordered our meals, a plate of bread and **** came out. The bread was really fresh, with a subtle sweetness to it...The soup of the day was their Cream of Asparagus and it was very delightful!...For the entree, we both decided to have their Turkey dinner which was huge as it came with slices of turkey meat with gravy, seasonal vegetables, stuffing, and some potatoes. With it was some cranberry sauce and coleslaw. It was delicious and I ate everything up!
We dined at the Lake Louise Station twice in the week following Christmas, and we had a delightful experience both times. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, especially when compared to the overpriced options at the Chateau Lake Louise. The service at the station was attentive, timely, and casual. The dining area, located in this historic railway station, featured a cozy atmosphere with a crackling fire, making it perfect for a cold, snowy night. High-backed Mission-style armchairs surrounded the square hardwood tables, giving us a sense of semi-privacy. However, one downside was that the background music was a bit loud and seemed to cater more to the staff's tastes rather than the diners'. Our group tried the B.C. trout, seafood curry, N.Y. strip steak, and prime rib, all of which were enjoyable. The food arrived warm and well-presented within 15 minutes. However, the root vegetables, which are often abundant in winter, could have been cooked a bit longer. Still, the main dishes were flavorful, hot, and skillfully prepared. The restaurant also offers value-priced nightly specials, including curries and pasta. The wine list was quite limited, moderately priced, and primarily sourced from the Okanagan region, with only a few options available by the glass. While British Columbia produces some wonderful white wines, its red wines tend to fall short compared to those from warmer regions. The Station could benefit from a more diverse selection of wines from around the world. Overall, we were sufficiently impressed with the food, service, and comfort of this locally owned establishment that we decided to return later in the week for another satisfying meal.
