Bidra med feedbackI ordered the tomato chocolate soup, with it no bread was served. No bread was also brought to the table as an appetizer, for a restaurant that is high-level, it was disappointing. The server was very polite.
We love eating here when we're in Lake Louise! It took us forever to discover that we thought it would be very expensive, but in fact it is quite reasonable if you take into account the incredible outlook! Many dinner dishes are $18 $25.
I ate a few times now at this restaurant. You pay for the view. The service is good. The food itself is mediocre. Nothing special about it and you pay a lot for it.
Awesome dining experience ... some would call it overpriced, I am sure, but the atmosphere and environment at the shore of Lake Louis is worth it. I would typically order a more extravagant meal at a restaurant of this calibre, but a good old fashioned burger and brew was on my palette. Our server went over and above (Sarah from Australia). Definitely will go again if I ever have the privilege of staying in Chateau Lake Louise again.
At Lake Louise, you don’t really have very many options when it comes to dining other than what’s available at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. This is probably the reason why their Lakeview Lounge is oh so popular and constantly busy all day! Though the lounge’s casual vibe and moderate pricing attracts many customers, I personally find the prices quite overpriced for the quality of the food you get, but I wasn’t surprised with that because hotel restaurants tend to be more expensive than your average dine out restaurant as it’s considered more fine-dining.
