Rusty Rooster Cafe - Lake Ozark

We visited this restaurant during our weekend stay at the lake, and I have to say, the experience was truly outstanding! I ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was absolutely fantastic! We were so impressed that we couldn't wait to come back for another meal the next day. The coffee was excellent, and the service was consistently top-notch. It made us wish we had this restaurant in St. Louis. We definitely plan to return someday!

Madison was our bartender, and despite being busy, she handled everything flawlessly. I ordered the French toast along with a side of bacon and domestic fries, while my husband opted for the biscuits and gravy, fries, and a pancake. I also enjoyed a hot tea and a mimosa. French toast used to be my favorite breakfast, but I’ve often been disappointed by other restaurants that overdo the spices, cook it poorly, or load it with chewy fruits that make it soggy. For some reason, I decided to give it a try here, and I’m so glad I did! The French toast was absolutely perfect. The fries were the freshest, well-cooked potatoes, seasoned just right without being overly crispy. Everything we ordered was simply delicious. I’ve found my new favorite breakfast spot and can’t wait to return to try their lunch options!

The food was delicious and the shrimps were sharp. I wanted to try the cinnamon roll, but as gluten intolerant it was a no for me? They were very busy and we had waited a bit, but the staff was friendly and we could get a drink to keep us until a table is open. I loved the interior and the whole interior. (They had gluten-free bread!

Rusty rooster café is located in the Lake of the Ozarks. The portions are large while get plenty of food. I had a large pancake which could?ve been enough to feed four people. The restaurant is cute and beautiful place to visit with in the lake of the Ozarks for breakfast and you don?t want to cook just come here to eat. Farm house chic. I will return. Gloria

Absolutely amazing home-cooked breakfast diner. Fantastic farm to table food that is always served fast and fresh! The wait staff is nothing but extraordinary, with nothing but top notch service. Blows every chain restaurant and most local restaurants out of the water, always looking forward to the rust rooster ?!
