Young's Point Diner & Pizzeria

Every summer I look forward to making several visits to Young's Point diner for a delicious breakfast of the Point's skillet or a burger for lunch topped with homemade wine-union jam topping, and then take home some homemade baked goods. This is a warm and...friendly family operated country diner run by Janice and Max and their daughter-in-law Christina. I understand the family has used the Covid downtime to renovate and I look forward to seeing the final results.

We had breakfast here and it was not a terrific experience like we have had before. We have eaten here many, many times. Eating breakfast out of a cardboard bowl is not pleasant. We were not asked any covid questions nor were we asked for...our name and phone number. Everything was thrown into the waste basket including the menus. Such a waste of paper. Wooden knives and forks along with paper cups. We have eaten at many establishments during covid times where proper cutlery and plates are used. This is not necessary. I'm still shaking at the amount of waste. There were four of us and we won't be back. We used to enjoy coming here.

Dropped in for breakfast. As I don't eat meat, I ordered an omelet that included diced tomatoes, mozzaella, mushrooms and herbs, side of sliced tomatoes instead of bacon.... they were quite happy to accommodate. Chef mentioned she would add this to menu as pizza omelet ...Warm atmosphere and friendly service...thank you Linda. Definitely dropping in again on next visit to Stoney Lake.

Whenever I visit Youngs Point, I make sure to stop by The Diner for breakfast. Their bacon, eggs, and everything else on the menu are always fantastic. The service is top-notch as well. It's the perfect spot to grab a meal anytime, but especially in the morning. The French toast is a must-try, it's absolutely delicious. The location is convenient for guests of Clearview Cottage Resort, as it's within walking distance. Overall, a great place to dine in Youngs Point.

This is a terrific family owned and operated small town eatery and pizzeria !! The owners are very friendly and their staff of mostly family members are eager to please. Menu is varried and priced right. Breakfast includes coffee and they have a buffet on...weekends. Pizza is eat-in or take out. Best chicken wings in the area !!! Unfortunately their A/C is not up to par and it becomes a sweat' shop on hot summer days and especially summer evenings. The building is old but in good repair. The washrooms are old and even-though clean need a major overhaul.. It must be difficult to ask family members to clean toilets !!! They plan to open a drive-thru' takeout window but that seems stalled due to cash-flow restrictions. The coffee is great and the quantity and quality of food is wonderful but I worry they may not make it through the winter.
