Bidra med feedbackI've had fish w/fries and loved it, also the Gyros are very good!! The Philly cheese steak is good w/everything.. As I mentioned the fish is very good but if taking out, uncover it because by the time you get home the breading will be soggy, as any breading would.. Some people have said they are pricey. I think it's worth the price. I always dine in, only once I ordered takeout (fish) but it tastes good. I recommend
Kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for. I'm an over the road truck driver that runs a dedicated lane to Lakeland, Florida and this is the second time I've ate there in the last few weeks and always look forward to stopping there and grabbing a bite to eat when I have the time! Their gyros rank up there, second to none, with the food I grew up with up in Chicago and their grilled chicken breast sandwich and grilled Hake I think are superb! I also want to put a shout out to the police for not harassing me for parking on the main drag as I run in to order my food! : Thank you for serving great food.
I normally love Salem's. Their fries are delicious, I love the seafood. But this particular one, it hit a rush hour and I believe that's why the food came out the way it did but it definitely was not the normal standard it usually is. My sea food tasted like it came out a fish tank I couldn't eat it. The soda was flat and our fries were beyond soggy. If we lived closer we would have went back but we were on the go we just delt with it. I'm not discouraging you to eat here. It definitely is great food! Just maybe not during a rush.
There food and service is excellent. We just moved to Florida. We came in on Thursday the 24th to try it and have been back everyday since. Their food options are very large portions and fit the price. Great food. Geo the manager was friendly to me and my husband. He served us with a smile and a great attitude. We have found our new spot to eat since we moved to Florida.
I often travel for work and I love Salem's in Tampa, but this location has been incredibly disappointing, especially after a long day when I'm just looking for something satisfying to eat, and I’m willing to pay a bit more for it. *Update*: I visited the drive-thru and spent $60, but I still didn't receive the right condiments. I checked the bag, but mistakenly thought that ranch was tartar sauce, so I ended up with nothing for my fish. Salem's, please listen—your food is fantastic, but for many of us, the right condiments can really enhance the meal. I noticed that the person who delivered my food wasn’t the same person I interacted with during the order process. It might be a good idea to have food runners double-check the bags against the order before handing them out. It's such a shame for a wonderful meal to be spoiled by these simple customer service issues.
