Bidra med feedbackGood place. Sunday Brunch and Chicken St Croix must try
First time coming to this place. Food was cold and the waitress was not very kind. I do not recommend
Wife and I have made previous visits to the Bungalow and agree it's one of our favorite restaurants in the area. We visited on a Friday as it was approaching the dinner hour as we wanted to be there for happy hour as well as dinner. Service a bit slow, (not enough help? but it wasn't a problem as we were not in a big rush. Wife and sister enjoyed glasses of Riesling, I had a good Old-Fashioned. We totally enjoyed their appetizer of fried mushrooms which were hot and very tasty with more than enough for the 3 of us. It was Friday and consequently we all ordered the fish fry. Excellent Cod. The dinner included a tossed salad as well as fries. The salad even arrived with a bread stick. More than enough food. No dessert for us as we were full from the main order. We will most definitely plan to make a return visit.
Had an early Wed. nite dinner. (5 pm). Server took our order afterabout 5 minutes. So far, so good! We ordered onion rings as theappetizer gave the server our meal selections. Within 3-4 minutesafter getting the onion rings, our soup arrived. Less than 5 minuteslater we received our meal selections. Absolutely no time to enjoyany portion of our meal. We're not slow eaters, but we don't liketo be pushed into devouring our food in minutes. The restaurantwas busy, but not crowded. Didn't see any need to be pushed tofinish our dinner at such a rushed pace. If the server thought shewas providing good (fast) service it was just the opposite. I'm kindathinking this is not the place to have a relaxing meal. The BungalowInn will NOT be on my recommended list of places to dine. The foodwas OK, not great. (my baked potato was BARELY warm when served). But on the positive side, the beer was good.
We went for the Sunday brunch.Absolutely, without a doubt, one of the best EVER!! Great **** Mary, awesome service!!5 stars more!
