Nakara Japanese - LAKEPORT

Had a wonderful lunch! excellant service, charming feeling. they transformed the former building into a very rustic Japanese environment. they had not only Japanese things, I had a very nice pho. my wife ordered a beautiful bento box. the only reason not to give 5 stars is that I always think they should keep the shooting for the stars. we will be back!!!

In two visits enjoyed salmon cooked perfectly. The teriyaki salmon, served with lightly cooked vegetables (broccoli, carrots, potatoes, etc) in s light, flavorful sauce was beyond delicious. My only mild objection is that whole-grain (brown) rice is not offered. Service was prompt and friendly

Nakara was sooo delicious tonight. Very happy that a fantastic sushi restaurant went into Lakeport. This was my second time, and it was just as great as the first!! ????

I had an order for pick up, got there at the scheduled time and notified the waitress of my order, sat in the waiting room for 10 minutes all to get food that wasn’t hot. A $75 order I got there on time and had to wait 10 minutes for lukewarm teriyaki chicken. Very disappointed would put zero stars if I could. What a waste of money.

Phenomenal place in Lakeport! It's nice to finally have a Japanese restaurant in Lake County! The deep fried Salmon Roll is my new favorite! The butterflied Shrimp ? were so tasty, and the Dragon Roll was yummy as well. Hard to pick a favorite because everything was so good. Emily our server was super helpful and enthusiastic.
