Six Sisters & a Pigeon - LAKES ENTRANCE

I recently dined at a restaurant and tried the Greek salad with lamb. The salad had a decent mix of cos lettuce, black olives, feta, sun-dried tomatoes in oil, and yogurt on top, but I found it to be lacking in lamb. My husband opted for a frozen chicken burger and enjoyed the tasty chips. We also appreciated the pleasant seating outside the front of the restaurant.

So many cafes, eateries to choose from, we visited twice for breakfast, meals were ok, a tad pricey floors looked like they hadnt been cleaned, wonder if behind the counter and kitchen were in same state. Catchy name but could capitalize on this, decorate, promote...the name, gotta do something to improve, cleanliness first, then get together and make this a place to visit, or nearby competitors will take over,

The food here is awful.There cakes are so hard and not fresh,coffee is cold even when you ask for it to be extra hot.No body ever seems to be sitting outside,or inside for that matter,now we no why,horrible,dont waste your money.

Restrictions partially lifted so headed to Lakes for lunch. Beautiful day, people everywhere. Six Sisters and a Pigeon looked good but numbers limited to eat in so ordered burgers with the lot to take away. They were huge and delicious, more than 'the lot ', fresh...salad included. I gave my husband half my bacon and tomato. We struggled to finish the burgers. No room for anything else! If you like your burgers with the lot, this is the place for you. Great value, $12 each.

Came here for a quick lunch because we saw their pesto pasta and it looked really nice. As we were ordering, the person taking our order wasn’t aware of what was on their special menu. After waiting 30 minutes, someone came out to tell us...there was no more pesto pasta, so ok we got the refund for that. We waited another 10 minutes, so 40 minutes in total. For them to bring out the smallest grill’d fish and small amount of chips that we paid $17 for. And the bruschetta was ridiculous. We waited 40 minutes for them to cut up some onions and tomatoes and sprinkle with parsley. There was no sauce, no dressing, the bread wasn’t even toasted. When we asked if we had balsamic vinegarette, the girl brought us some white vinegar and salt instead.. We really came here for the pesto pasta and thought we would grab a quick bite. If we knew the serving size, then i would recommend going to any other fish and chip shop to get your money’s worth of fish and chips. The only nice thing we ate was their loaded potato gems which was on their special menu.
