Granny Scott's Pie Shop - Lakewood

This local spot has been my favorite place for cookies for the past 20 years. The service is always friendly, and they also offer Magills ice cream in-store.

I visited on Friday to grab a bite to eat with my sister, and unfortunately, our meal was completely disrupted by a customer who was shouting and hurling vulgar insults at two teenagers, even telling one to go back to his country. All this commotion stemmed from a dispute over a slice of pie that the teens had eaten but wanted a refund for. On a positive note, the male and female staff behind the counter handled the situation with commendable politeness and respect, despite the erratic behavior from the women involved. I've been eating here for years and have always appreciated it! This exceptional customer service, along with the delicious sweets, only reaffirms my decision to keep coming back for many more years!

Incredible bakery! I strongly recommend trying the pecan cinnamon rolls.

I LOVE the cinnamon rolls and pies here. I usually stock up on their cinnamon rolls once a week to try to make them last a week but they’re so good I end up eating 4 of them in 2 days! I’ve only eaten their pies, cinnamon rolls and their caramel candy and I’ve loved it. Last time I ate there I ordered a pecan pie slice with a latte to dine in but they didn’t warm up the pecan pie slice so I wasn’t able to enjoy it in the shop. I had to take it home to warm it up in my oven. I would have given this shop 5 stars but having cold pie made my dine in experience disappointing. They do offer a good selection of pies.
