J J Fish Chicken - Lakewood

Honest review: I?m originally from Chicago, it could never be like home but very close and I was so excited to go here but this definitely didn?t disappoint. Food was great, and the customer service was amazing!!! GREAT GUYS WORKING HERE!!

Came in and was greeted quickly. Food is pricey, but everywhere is now. We were treated well, given the newbie discount : , and even added a few onion rings for us to try! Dont expect fast food, but it comes out fresh, and in an amount of time that makes me feel its cooked to temp.

My husband and I shared the small platter I think it's called. It's 35.99 we had catfish, shrimp, chicken wings and it comes with a few slices of white bread. The service is great and the food is even better. Great tartar sauce, my favorite is ivars but JJ's was pretty good.

I?m going through one of the hardest parts of my life. And the customer service and food is amazing. I even called back to thank the drive through for the amazing service. I will come back as much as I can. I highly recommend. EDIT: I now understand why there is never more than 1 person in the drive through. They don?t care about serving everyone. I waited 7 minutes in the drive through with no response. And then I put my car in reverse and left. A very sad experience because I planned on coming here regularly but I can make better food at home for less time, less money, and better customer service. Edit #3: I don?t know who the guys think they are. I have them another chance because I want to support small businesses but that?s a terrible idea for this place. I hope the owner reads this because your employees don?t care. I ordered 2 Italian beef sandwiches and and every thing was ?okay? until I got home and realized there was cheese in the sandwiches. I can?t eat cheese so I called back and the response I got was ?that?s how they come.? That?s false because the last time I ordered there wasn?t any cheese. It?s an Italian beef sandwich and not a Philly cheesesteak. Someone messed up and doesn?t want to be held accountable. I am disappointed in the lack professionalism at this place. Don?t waste your time coming here. There?s probably at least 10 other restaurants that you can get better service within a 5 mile radius.

They get 5 stars because the food tastes just like it does back in the chi. God Bless Jj Fish Chicken!
