Kfc - Lakewood

The dining room closes at 8 PM, even though the doors say 9 PM. I placed my order at 8:10 and ended up eating at home instead of dining in as I had planned. Sometimes I just don’t understand things. This place has really gone downhill.

The food is decent and exactly what you would expect from KFC. However, I have consistently encountered issues every time I visit this location. There seems to be a lack of attention to detail, as my orders are often incorrect or incomplete. They especially seem to overlook the proper sauces, even when I’ve paid extra for them. I always end up having to carefully check my entire order for mistakes before I leave.

After half an hour, a young woman finally approached me to see if I needed help. When I mentioned that I was still waiting for my order, she pointed to the box where delivery drivers pick up orders and said, "Oh, it's right here." By this point, my food was cold, and two out of the five meals went uneaten. This is just one of many issues I've encountered at this location; I've never had a pleasant experience here. If my family didn't occasionally request KFC, I wouldn't set foot in this restaurant again. The franchise owner is as unresponsive as the employees are rude.

If you go thru the drive thru make sure you check your order. They do seem to get it wrong from time to time. But aside from that the staff is very friendly. The wait is generally very short and they have super delicious fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy! Their biscuits are pretty yummy too especially with honey sauce. Always a great choice for fast yummy fried chicken and sides.

This KFC was not that great. The chicken was old and cold. If you like KFC I would try a different one. The customer service was bad as well. They charge me almost ten dollars for chicken that was left under the heat lamps for a long time. I don’t think I will ever go back to this one.
