Oscar's Pizza - Lakewood

I recently tried Oscar's Pizza located next to Avenue Tap House and if you're in search of a neighborhood pizza spot, this place is top-notch! In my opinion, the crust is what sets a pizza apart, and this place serves the most delicious Buffalo chicken pizza, cheesy bread, and peppered wings I've had in a while. The owners, a Cleveland couple, are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend stopping by to show your support and enjoy a fantastic dining experience! Don't forget to check out the live music and grab a beer while you wait for your meal.

Oscars consistently serves up excellent pizza and calzones. I have been ordering from them frequently for the past 4 months and have never been disappointed. Personally, I believe that Oscars makes the best calzones in the area. I give them a 10/10 rating - I am definitely a fan! Though the menu is small, it is full of flavorful options. The fact that they make their dough fresh daily is evident in the taste. While they don't reinvent the wheel with their pizzas, the selection they offer is top-notch. Some of my favorites include the Calzone with Pepperoni, Meatball, Banana Peppers, and Green Peppers, as well as the Supreme Pizza, Buffalo Ranch dry rub Wings, and Mozzarella Sticks (which are seriously amazing). Ordering takeout is quick and easy through their online app, and they are always prompt for pick-up.

This restaurant is a fantastic local spot where you can also get delicious late-night food at an affordable price. The wings are fantastic (especially the spicy garlic sauce) and the calzones are incredible. The taco pizza is a must-try!

Pizza is very mediocre. their hours suggest they are catering to the people that are at the bars next to this place. they are not open for lunch. i ordered a mushroom and anchovy pizza and turns out i didnt have any mushrooms on my pizza. the crustlacks firmness and the sauce is extremely bland. i am starting to think this region has notoriously bad pizza in general. thisis the second pizza place i have tried that was not good in this area. i am also willing to bet that all the good reviews forthis place were by patrons imbibed on alcoholic beverages. the pizza looks good but tastes really mediocre and the crust lacksthe proper firmness of a properly made pizza.
