Sidelines - Lambertville

So my husband and I decide to give this place one more shot,We love the sidelines in toldedo and was so happy to find one when we moved to lambertville! Why I would decide to go on my bday with such a bad experience last week lol I have no idea! what we figured out was we Weill never be returning! the service is just ok wich is sad! and the food again I wish I didn't even have to give 1 star it's a shame because the Toledo restaurant is all around amazing the food is always hot and taste amazing this time we got the onion rings for starters and the rings seem to be hours old! This time both dinners were bad! My steak cooked well well when I asked for rare and my husbands sides was wrong on his and the server acted as if it was an issue to have it fixed...

Ok...so our waitress was decent in checking up on us for drinks but...... when it came time for our bills, there was 3 separate couples that paid with cash. The waitress brought our change and shorted all of us our change by only bringing us dollar bills and none of our change. Example: one of our tabs ended with .24 and she rounded down shorting us .76 cents on that bill alone. All of the tabs was shorted down. I am a great tipper, I don't need a business to short me and my friends because they don't want to make change or maybe increase tips. Anymore, most businesses charge a fee for using a credit card, not cash. I could understand if this was a one off but not when it affects my whole group and appears to be a practice. I do not recommend this restaurant for this practice. Update: This was apparently not a normal practice for this restaurant and the manager has addressed it. I will try this restaurant again and give it another chance.

Update: I greatly appreciate that Eric (co-owner) reached out to us about what happened. (Thank you) I am hopeful our experience was only a one time occurrence. We do plan on going back. As I mentioned prior the wait staff has always been great! We have come here before and had good service and good food, and this time our service was still very good. However this time my issue is with the kitchen. All of our orders came out wrong. I ordered the macaroni and added buffalo chicken and sautéed onions. My husband ordered the patty melt burger medium. My macaroni came out with raw onions and the burger came out well done instead of medium. Our server was great, she offered to have my macaroni re-made or a side of sautéed onions, I went for the side. My husband asked for a new burger. The second burger came out dripping in blood and clearly not cooked to medium. Pictured is the two burgers one over cooked and one raw. Average bar food, average service as well. I do really like their fowl balls (boneless chicken wings). This is the best sidelines in the chain for sure. Their side salads are very good, they have very good ranch. They have a cheese dipper appetizer which is very good, but is definitely store bought.

Nothing personal against staff. The food just isn't all it's cracked up to be. If you're going just for drinks, you'll be satisfied.
