Whilst the drinks food were great the app to order pay is probably the worst one on the market as far as being user friendly. There’s no chance of ordering any other way. The interface is clumsy, and long winded. It doesn’t accept Apple Pay, PayPal or any other easy option, it won’t even allow the smart phone to auto add the Card number, you physically have to take your card out of your wallet to enter the numbers. The website doesn’t give you a choice of rejecting certain cookies, so you are inundated with unwanted ads on social media after using it. The whole rigmarole of ordering paying is too long winded, especially when there are contactless options available. Our server wore his face mask under his nose for the whole time and we would have preferred not to have seen his plumbers butt every time he turned away to return to the bar area. Great food! we have eaten there about 5 times and eating is always good, even if super busy. they are also very friendly with dogs and have a beautiful garden area from the back.

Good place to meet friends for a chat when locally. can get a table at the weekend, in which regular busy but not packed. eat always excellent and menu change regularly seasonal and fresh. may eat a bit expensive for a pub, but it is worth it and a good bet if they want something on a Friday or Saturday night without booking. steak is always a winner. Cozy but trendy pub with good selection of ales and fantastic quality eating. has an adjacent caffe with proper coffee and a library. further back they have a large, secluded beer garden, which in summer is a sunfall. my only grip is that I would like to see more specials on the menu.
