Forest Golf & Country Hotel

We decided to stop at this restaurant after a game of golf and were quickly greeted by a very pleasant and accommodating server named Emma. Two of us had nine ounces of Pinot Grigio (Wayne Gretzky) for $10.50 each; one of us had coffee and the other just water. The restaurant was busy but we were able to see the golf course from our table. Our orders were taken quickly and efficiently by Emma, who served us with a smile. One of our guests ordered the club sandwich and wished the fries were hand-cut and hot; another had the special of the day which came with chipotle dressing and found it to be spicy but tasty. I ordered the Big Sur salad, a large salad of greens with walnuts, pecans, red onion, red bell pepper, mandarin oranges, and crispy chicken strips. Our last guest ordered a burger with fries. The burger was well cooked, but the fries were cold and limp - nothing worse than cold and soggy fries! I could only eat a third of my salad as it was too wet; I would recommend tossing the mandarin oranges in the salad instead of placing them on the side to avoid confusion. The herb berry vinaigrette was delicious and the chicken strips were flavorful. Overall, it was a mediocre lunch but we may give it another try in the future.

We live approx. 20 minutes away and have heard good things about eating, so we placed our order and picked up (covid lockdown) we were feeding 4 adults and we ordered 2 chicken rib dinner and a large caesar salat. Pick-up... time was right and we had enough food for everyone with a quarter of awk, 1/2 rack of ribs,Fries and cäser for $19.99 for 2 people! ribs were delicious and fleshy and chicken proportions were large. the Caesar salad was delicious and I am not a crooked, but I even ate and enjoyed it! they have special the whole week thru and will definitely try this restaurant again! we would all recommend forest golf country club restaurant! keep the great meal forest!

Last year, when this restaurant reopened, they had the best French fries in the city. The mixed seasoned riders they offer are okay. Please bring back their signature dish.

Have ripened and chickened for taking off. both were excellent. very well prepared and well flavored. this restaurant makes its part to ensure that the community food can get during the covid. very appreciated.

Stopped here for lunch. We were seated quickly and our food came in good time and well prepared. We had a nice view over the gold course. I hadn’t been here for a while but it may be a best kept secret to Forest. Worth...a try.
