Root Beer King - Lamont

COCKROACH!! Was found in my rootbeer float on our drive home. Occasionally we drive from Bakersfield to Lamont because the fries are best at this location. We called to notify them of our findings. The lady asked what we ordered (our order: 1fry, 2 hamburgers, 3 shakes, chilie cheese fris and a chilie dog. She said she could ONLY REFUND the ONE shake the roach was found in. We were already back in town and just asked for her to make sure the machines were cleaned periodically and properly. Lady was rude.Will not be going back!!! Will not recommend!!!

The jalapeños burger is the best! The staff are all sweet and amazing.

The place was alone, like all the people order takeout.

Lamont is a historical landmark featuring a classic burger joint and an old-school diner vibe, complete with a jukebox. The seasoned fries are a must-try!

I always make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in town, as I’m originally from Iowa. This place has the best food around!
