Go to Briske. It is tender and perfectly seasoned - no sauce required. The greens available on weekends are tender with a smoky jalapeno vinegar and some sugar. Finish the feast with a just peach. The friendly owner went table to table to make sure that all of them enjoy their food. I'd eat here again.

I just bought my wife and I a 4 rib plate each. Took a bite into the ribs I've heard so much about. Was shocked by the flavor. It is by far the best ribs I've ever had. I must say even the beans are awesome. When I want to treat myself this is where I'm going. Great food and great people. Thank you Update 5/5/18: Just finished off a 3 meat plate. Sausage,Ribs and Brisket. I'm stuffed and very happy. This good BBQ has us hooked. It's now mandatory for us to eat there at a minimum once a month. So glad Lampasas finally has great BBQ once Again. We live in Austin and enjoy BBQ as often as possible. Definitely worth the drive out here. Brisket is amazing and so moist. The ribs were delicious as well. No sauce was needed on anything but, was delicious in taste Eapecually.if you mix a little of their homemade hot sauce in it. On weekends they have collard greens that tasted excellent.we will certainly be back.

Stopped by this place called Johnny Walkers BBQ! Best Brisket I’ve ever eaten!! Green we’re amazing!! Unfortunately they were outta Mac and cheese but the Manger Toni was kind enough to give me a Peach cobbler instead!! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good BBQ!!
