Rodamar - l'Ampolla

We have been to this restaurant a good few times since it opened, it was a breath of fresh air in Lampolla, but this evening we invited friends and the food and service was terrible. My Spanish is normally okay when ordering in restaurants but we happened to get a waiter Who didn’t explain the menu very well. He finally got a waitress from downstairs who was very helpful and we ordered. My mediterranean small squid with black garlic aioli was very simply chiperones and I’ve had better. My friends ordered the Burata which was okay, The rack of lamb maincourse had so much salt it was inedible my fish of the day Escorpora, was undercooked (it had blood on it , cold, tasteless and was served with a tiny piece of cold burnt aubergine and courgette, it was the worst meal I’ve had in many years! My wife’s squid was also undercooked. The food was served on awkward shaped plates, the waiter struggled to carry them. Three starters come out at the same time and the fourth one we had to wait almost 10 minutes for exactly the same thing happened with the main courses three came out and the other one we had to wait for overall a terrible meal. We complained and they took the maincourse fish off our bill but at €180 with one bottle of wine I felt it was a poor gesture. It’s clearly a restaurant trying to be something that it isn’t.

I have not been there since before lockdown. Excellent food very well presented. Wonderful setting, attentive staff. What more would one want.

I loved this restaurant. Local with good taste and design, very friendly staff and, most importantly, very good cuisine and at a fair price. I'm sure I'll repeat

Menú fin de semana de 25 € con bebidas al costado, más que excelente con respecto al resto de la zona en la que nos conocimos. productos frescos y de calidad, la entrada de puré de berenjena con pulpo, deliciosos, calamares con bonces caseros y dos tipos de salsa, mejillones frescos y paella exquisita. otro producto para destacar fue el pan. ofrecen pan de varios sabores, aceituna negra, cebolla, chia o pipas, que son un auténtico placer. pero no puedo dejar atrás al personal, excelente tratamiento, profesionalidad, velocidad y buena cara que este último no abunda demasiado últimamente encontramos una situación en la que algunos clientes recriminaron algo al camarero que los clientes no tenían la razón resuelto la incidencia con mucha profesionalidad y continuaron su trabajo con la misma buena cara que tenía al comienzo del día. 10, ¡regresaré!

Atención estupenda, carta variada y comida sabrosa y de calidad. Ambiente tranquilo y magníficas vistas . Hemos quedado muy satisfechos. Muy TOP
