I was traveling to New York and decided to stop for a bite of delicious, locally sourced food! I really enjoy supporting small businesses that source their ingredients from farms. Everything we had was fantastic! We sat outside in the sunshine and admired the sunset. The weather was perfect, and the service was excellent! When we pass through again, we will definitely return! Thank you for offering organic and healthy options! <3
Bad experience overall. Service was slow and it seemed like the waitress was maybe avoiding our table (family of 6 with young kids). The two younger kids had meals that came with applesauce. Halfway through the meal we had to ask for spoons (only a knife and fork with the table setting). Initially she only brought 1, so we had to ask for another. Cocktails were not good. I started with one of the cocktail specials my bad. Then I ordered a harvest peach old fashioned that I just left on the table after a couple sips. I had a tuna steak that was cooked very appropriately (medium rare) and it was good, but my wife had a piece of chicken on her salad that would make the Mojave desert seem lush. So dry she had trouble getting it down. Likewise, the burger sliders that the older kids had looked like they were overcooked.Vegetarian options: Looked like they had several vegan/plant based options on the menu.Kid friendliness: They had kids ' menus and crayons, which is nice I guess, but I definitely felt like the wait staff was avoiding our table all night.
This was my first experience at Harvest, and the menu looked fantastic. I was excited to find that the food lived up to my expectations, and I also enjoyed one of their local craft beer flights. Everything started off well; I was seated quickly, greeted by my waiter promptly, and received both my appetizer and entrée without delay. However, after that, I felt like I had disappeared. My wife and I finished our meal and were eager to try one of the delicious-looking desserts we had seen being brought to other tables. We noticed that the waiter would come around with the dessert tray to present and describe the options, but that never happened for us. The manager cleared our plates promptly, and then we just sat there, waiting and waiting. Our waiter did pass by, but it appeared he didn’t notice us at all. Even the manager walked past us a couple of times without asking if we needed anything. After more than 20 minutes of waiting since our plates were cleared, I finally stopped the manager to explain our situation. He promptly found our waiter, who came over a minute later with our bill and a brief apology. That was it. There was no further offer of dessert or an explanation from the manager, who never returned to check on us again. I truly wanted to love this restaurant, especially after enjoying the food and atmosphere, but the service left me feeling very disappointed. I’ve experienced much better customer service in other establishments for far less. Harvest has a lot going for it, but when it comes to service and customer satisfaction, it really missed the mark.
Food taste was excellent. Special prices were not given and it seemed like dessert was included with the meal. Was just brought to us without asking. Did not feel it was a good value for the price. $140 for two people.
