I went to this restaurant this morning with my wife for breakfast.

Went for at 10:30 a.m. (breakfasts served until 11:00). Too cold to sit on the balcony but had a window seat. Service good - as always - omelette was nice (not the best but obviously wasn't sitting under a heat lamp before getting to us). Birthday girl daughter said her smoked salmon eggs benny was delicious. Nice and relaxing; close to home and you can arrive in shorts or suits - anything goes.

Came here for lunch with some friends who know the place well. View is quite nice though you don't see the water. Nice seats outside on the patio though there may be wind and possibly way too much sun.Service is good and pretty friendly though perhaps not the fastest bu that may not be the point here. Very accommodating. Food is good though portion size varies The schnitzel (unhealthy) is of generous quantity but the salad mains (healthy and Cobb at least) are a bit on the small side - it may fill an elderly woman but it won't fill an active middle-aged man. A little bigger than a side but much smaller than what one would expect for a main.

We do not get to this restaurant often, but, as they had a three course Valentine's dinner we visited and enjoyed a nice meal. My wife started off with the Honey Roasted Pear Salad and then the Steak main course finishing with a Lemon Tart. I had the Kushi Oyster starter then the Roast Duck and lastly the same dessert. Everything was well presented and service was good too. If anything needs attention it would be the wine list which does not present a great deal of choice. At $45.00 per person not including alcohol or gratuity it was still very good value.
