Einstein Bros. Bagels - LANGHORNE

I was really let down by my experience. Usually, I order from the store that’s nearest to me, but the “order ahead” option wasn’t available this morning. We placed our order in advance and drove to this location, only to find that there was no check-in option when we arrived. I ended up waiting another 10 minutes for my order, even after a 15-minute drive. When I finally got home, I found out that my bagel wasn’t even the right one. Overall, this visit was quite disappointing.

This bagel shop has really disappointed me. We used to love coming here, but the quality of the bagels has dropped considerably, and it feels like they no longer care about what they offer to their customers. Sadly, I won't be coming back.

This restaurant unexpectedly closed on Mother's Day morning, leaving a crowd of confused customers at the door. Although the lights were on and it appeared that staff were present, the doors were locked. Frustrated, people eventually left. It's clear this place is unreliable, as they often have unpredictable closures. The posted hours are practically meaningless.

If you've lived in New York or New Jersey for a while, I wouldn't suggest this restaurant. You likely won't find their bagels satisfying. A bagel with egg and cheese, along with a plain bagel and cream cheese, costs $10! To be honest, it hardly resembles an authentic bagel. Even my 5-year-old, who is a big fan of bagels, didn't want to finish her meal.

The Ham Swiss Egg sandwich was disappointing. The bagel was barely toasted and quite dry. At other Einsteins, the bagels are toasted to perfection—crispy, hot, and delicious. The egg tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time, definitely not fresh; completely unlike the usual fresh eggs at other locations. The ham was cold, but the cheese was good. I didn’t want to take it back after I had already ketchuped the wrapping (which I use as a tray in my car). I’m usually someone who finishes every last crumb and regrets not being able to eat more, but I left half of it behind. Yes, it was morning, but honestly, there were maybe three other customers besides me. It’s not like I ordered a thick steak that wasn’t cooked enough—this was just toasting a bagel and serving a fresh egg! Honestly, I would’ve been better off with a Croissan’wich or a McD Steak Egg Bagel.
