The Draft House - Lansing

So very sad. I grew up here. I used to come here every year for my birthday dinner. And every year my birthday dinner consisted of nothing but the Apple Skillet pie. I have been gone for around 25 years. And I come to find that the Apple Skillet pie is nolonger on the menu. This is a true tragedy. But I also have to say you guys have always had the most amazing atmosphere and foodregardless of my wonderful pie being gone.

We stopped at The Draft House on our way back home from the beach. It was a nice neighborhood pub. Our waitress took good care of us. We had the pickle fries which were delicious. They came hot and fresh with a little sweetness to them. We ordered burgerswhich were fantastic. Drank a delicious tipsy mermaid from their liquid encouragement menu which tasted like you were on atropical island. My son even got a customized cherry coke that he enjoyed. When I am back in town, I 'd have to visit again.

This is our favorite restaurant in the area. It's a fantastic locally-owned family establishment. The staff is consistently friendly, and both the service and food are always excellent. They offer a great selection of draft beers, including craft options.

Many members of my wife's family have worked here over the years during their youth. It feels like stepping into Cheers, filled with so many memories and familiar faces.

A nice burger place with a lot of variety in their menu and even a Mexican section! Good service and easy to find.
