Azure Beach Club - Lapu-Lapu City

I had similar experience like some of the reviews here. Food was great, priced fairly, location wise and overall twas good but the service, waiting time and disorganised staff. Would’ve rated 5 stars if not for the below average service. There’s definitely room for improvement. Updated review (October 9, 2021) Service improved, shortened waiting time. Food still great too.

Very beautiful restaurant and bar with wonderful views of the ocean and shoreline. Had dinner there without being a guest at the hotel. Friendly service. Nice music and excellent fire dancing entertainment on Sunday evening. Three performances. One per hour starting at 7. Best to make a reservation if you want a table. Or you can sit in bar area. Restaurant is right next to the resort beach. Very gorgeous resort.

Loved it! The food was so fresh, the atmosphere was great, waterfront so beautiful and the service was better than expected. And for desert we had a fire tiki show that was also very nice to see (Sunday night show). Not as cheap as other places but for us it was worth it. Although drinks were on happy hour 1+1 and we received a 20% when paying with Visa card, so it was really okay. Highly recommend!!

We ordered the the tuna tataki, pad thai, chicken biryani and chicken karaage. The food was served fast and the presentation was exceptional. Taste: Tuna Tataki is the best. It's tasty and light. The Pad Thai is yummy too. A bit on the sweet side though. The chicken biryani is not good if you have tasted chicken biryani before. Having stayed in Banilad where there are lots of indian restaurants, i think it's missing some of the spices. The chicken karaage is bad. Don't expect it to be the same as the ones in ramen houses. They should have just named it as fried chicken wings.
