Today we were running a little late and thought we would grab some lunch in Laroque next to Carrefour. There were three of us and due to the time they could only offer us sandwiches. So we ordered 2 chicken and one salmon. My wife asked if they could do a little side salad .To cut a long story short in the end we all ordered a little side salad to accompany the baguettes. The food was fab . The salad consisted of say two small lettuce leafs and three thin slices of tomato and some fine chopped onions with balsamic. My question is what would you expect to pay for the salads . On the entrance it said the chicken sandwiches were €5.50 and the Salmon €5.95 I think One coffee , one water and a Pepsi. My wife paid and said that was expensive to find out she paid €55.50 total . When we got outside I questioned the additions . She went back inside to be told the salads were a total of €29.70 at €9.90each They also charged an extra €1.00 per sandwich for Mayo on the baguettes. Talk about slap our legs ! Disgusting Sorry rant over !

As a German, I'm very particular with my bread, and here I find certainly the best choice in the region. From baguette to gluten free and proper rye, it's all there. And I haven't even started on the patisserie...
