Country Pride - Las Cruces

So we arrived pretty late in Laskreuzen on a weekday. To eat something and rest, we chose it because it was close. First we thought what was the smell?. It turns out that the restaurant can't do anything about it. We went in and the restaurant was very clean, but empty of guests. This is usually a bad thing. But it was actually a very good place to eat. The salad was amazingly fresh and well ordered. Everything was full and fresh. The soup bar looked good that we don't get one because we ordered bug meal. Service was amazing, eating hot (even after sitting on the table for at least 10 minutes it was still very hot). And the right amount. Without hope for good fish locked in a country we got a surprise and the fish was excellent. Only to show it depends on who cooks it (nice job by the way). So, as we come to cross, we plan to visit again. Thanks for a warm and tasty meal so late.

One word: New Mexico green Chile stew Ok, more than one. So delicious you need more than one bowl. Thanks.

I've been to this location twice. FIrst time was on 9/29/18 and yesterday 12/15/18. This is one of the few select restaurants my wife and I like going to. Being we live in Alamogordo and kinda initially drove an hour down to here for food means something. Our last service was great and this one was amazing. The waitresses both times were kind, gentle and caring if our food was good. I would have given this a 5-star rate if it had been a Country buffet as we originally thought. But still even so, highly recommend this place to eat and if you can, get the Jalapeno burger or the Mac n Cheese bacon one (if you dont mind the messy mac).

They close at 11:00 but started to close down at around 10:00 while customer's were still at the salad bar. Other than that it's a place to sit have a meal, and if that's all you want them you will be just fine. My food was only warm when it came, but as we all know never send the food back...

We ordered the chop steak with blueberry pancakes. And it took about 30 min to come to the table. Steak was dry had no flavor and the egg serving was not equal. One plate had what looked like the double serving than the other. They did refill coffee which was ok. Oh they forgot that I ordered blueberry pancakes. And I got them about 50 min later. I had asked them togo because by then we had already finished the meal and just waiting for pancakes.
