El Sombrero Patio Cafe - Las Cruces

I just had dinner tonight. WOW! Our server was AMAZING! (They don't remember their name. Chips and salsa were delicious. (Salsa has a certain kick. I ordered the ground beef Gorditas. The plate comes with 3 Gorditas and rice and beans. All right! Sopapillas were FRESH! Just a wonderful dinner experience! Will definitely come back! Call and see if they're open before you show up. They have personnel problems so that they can be closed at random times/days.

In Las Cruces for one night stopped and wanted to find a place to eat. We called and locked ourselves. The manager took my order and was very nice and helpful in recommendations. The raspberry cheesecake bites are NOT bites... they are delicious raspberry cheesecake egg rolls with powder sugar and a raspberry scuba sauce. Oh, my God, AMAZING! Definitely the best dessert I had in a long time. There are 4 of them in one order so much proportion, or not! I won't judge. Lol My tacos were delicious. They were light and filled me just enough, especially after a day of travel. I liked salsa, but too sharp for me, so I didn't use much. My daughter had chicken nuggets and my husband had a cheeseburger. They also enjoyed their food. We'll be back when we get back to town.

Love the interior of the restaurant. The patio looks romantic. Beautiful green plants makes the patio look like a botanical garden. Birds fly into the patio and add so much fun! The dishes look good. Definitely a good place to see young handsome waiters as well.

First time going to this restaurant, amazing food with huge quantities of it! My server was super friendly and on top of it. Definitely recommend this place for great Mexican food in Albuquerque.

Food: The food was good, but just kinda average compared to my other favourites around town. Way too pricey, though. And what Mexican places are charging for extra chips salsa? I get that covid hit business hard and they have to recoup expenses somehow. But free chips salsa at a Mexican restaurant is just something you expect. Service: Waitress was attentive and nice! No problems there at all. Atmosphere: Great atmosphere here! Cozy both inside and on the covered (indoor) patio.
