Bidra med feedbackAmazing food at good prices! Love me some cheap delicious food! the hainan chicken rice is sooo good, and they give you a lotta meat especially for the price! No oily ginger onions but it’s alright. The spicy sauce the soy dipping sauce is good. The potato came with the thin ribeye is boiled, which is not the best, but the steak is decent. The salt pepper wings are fresh, hot crunchy! Overall good experience, will come again when want to spend less than $30 for dinner
We got there at a quiet time to have lunch. It was our last day before returning home. Else, would have returned there again and again. The chef was friendly without being intrusive. The lone young lady who served us had pleasing manners and was attentive. Crispy hot shrimp wontons. Parathas with beef curry. Fried squid, hot sauce, white rice and brown, watercress salad, chicken wings.. The chef's recomendations along with what we ordered; the food was great. And perhaps the first time in our 4 day journey that we didn't leave anything behind or had nothing to box. We ate it all.. 4 grown ups and two kids. The only place in our 4 day journey which had covid protocol plastic sheets hanging between tables separating them. Clean restroom.
If you care about chicken, this is the place for Chinese style chicken in every variety.
Just got done eating here, and the food was amazing!!!! I had the beef curry which had a lot of flavor and the beef was soft and easy to chew. My husband had the fish ball wonton noodle soup and it was just full of flavor. We also got the fried shrimp wontons that came out super fresh and hot. The service was fast didn’t have to wait long for a table or for our food.
Setting aside a past mishap, my first restaurant experience during my visit to Las Vegas was at Big Wong. When we entered and saw the largely empty dining area, I felt a bit skeptical, but my doubts were unfounded. My friend ordered the Beef Ramen with Shrimp Wontons, while I chose the Shrimp Wontons with Noodle Soup and Hoi Nam Chicken served over seasoned rice. The Beef Ramen with Shrimp Wontons was intriguing; the soup base resembled that of pho, the noodles had a pleasing texture, and both the meat and wontons were tasty. My Shrimp Wontons with Noodle Soup also exceeded expectations—it was better than some similar dishes I’ve had elsewhere. For the Hoi Nam Chicken, I opted for dark meat, which came with rice and turned out to be surprisingly good. The rice had a nice flavor, the chicken was juicy, and the accompanying sauce complemented the dish well. **The Ambience** The restaurant is located in a plaza alongside other establishments. It has a private parking lot, but it tends to get crowded during peak hours. The size of the restaurant is average with ample seating available. The interior is typical of a Chinese restaurant, but I was pleased to find that the restroom was very clean. Although dinner hours were relatively quiet, this may be due to different peak times. Service was fast, and the staff appeared friendly. The menu offers a respectable variety of dishes, primarily focusing on rice, noodles, and curries. Overall, this was a pleasant introduction to Asian cuisine in Las Vegas.
