The $16.95 prime rib special was very good. I would order it again.

Great value, good food. fantastic ambiente. the el cortez keeps it coming. one of our favorite places.

Had a reservation, but not really needed to ever have one was ordering out. two different people argued where to sit. When I asked, we can just sit in the big cabin because we celebrate a birthday, we were told no and stopped in a small stand. the drinks were not strong or tasted good like a chaser. we asked for clean silver war due to those we had just sat on the table when we sat and were not wrapped or covered. we received the wrong veggies because the waiter did not know which veggies they have provided. the food was delivered before we got new cutlery. the steak special was mostly fat and was not cooked as we asked. I had not expected that perfection due to the price of the meal, but it could be much better.

Prime rib special was a bit chewing and does not include salad or dinner rolls. a better and tasty prime rib can be had in the south point casino and it includes a great home salad and soft evening dinner roll.

The El Cortez burger with the addition of cheese and bacon is yummy and very filling. I actually couldn't finish it all.
