Panera Bread - LATHAM

Service was really fast and friendly customer service. However, they seem to never have croissants every time I visited.

Great food every time. Prices are just getting too high for the size of the selections. Absolute consistency in quality and taste. Order way ahead. Service is definitely NOT fast food! Drive through is molasses.

I do like Panera, and those lemonade energy drinks were fun, but they just don't offer enough VEGAN options. I can have maybe one sandwich there and I believe one soup is vegan. That's nit enough for me when there are more healthy places around that havemore choices. It's tough and sad when the big chains don't cater more to those with dietary restrictions and/or concern for ourclimate or animal welfare. I'm putting my money in places that are more supportive now. I do love the fireplaces at some of thePanera stores, and I'll stop by for the occasional drink or smoothie but not a regular spot for me.

Dining in is the way to go at this location. Well maintained and comfortable dining area is perfect for a quick bite. The drive-through is greatly improved. Service dips closer to closing time. About an hour before the closure order was short itemsand cutlery. It's ok off-peak but roll the dice any other time of day.

The Panera in Latham is *great*. Our son has a huge list of food allergies and this is one of our few go-to places where we feel safe eating with him. The manager, Molly, is always there to work with us and make sure his food is safe. She's able to make hima bowl of just the grilled chicken (that would normally go on a salad and it's one of our son's favourite things! Most of theworkers know us now and they're all very friendly and inviting, even though our order is a bit more involved. : Love the grainbowls! Bring back the classic ham-and-cheese sandwich!
