Bidra med feedbackThe marmelade donuts are really good! my other favourites are the potato cake and vegan breakfast burger
Vegan burger available, we have forgotten to ask for the vegan cheese, but they have it available to provide personal was super helpful and happy to ask also a vegan pizza available after 17 o'clock, and sometimes they have vegan baked were many of the inside seats. parking space in front
Now called Windy's Bakehouse. We stopped there for something to eat, but the pie cabinet was pretty empty so we had a cold roll and a sandwich, which were nice but the bread roll felt a bit old. The floors were filthy as were the windows and made us wonder how clean it was in the kitchen. Will not stop there again.
Will never recommend this place.Ordered 2takeaway flathead and chips (sign reads 2pieces) for $9.90 each, asked if I was ok to wait 20mins. I went outside and returned 20minutes later and have no order ready. An extra 25 mins on top of that later and after asking 2-3times about my order, I get what was supposed to be my order and go home without checking (I had a very pissed off bf waiting in the car already). When I get home I get ready for dinner and as I open my takeaway boxes what I find is utterly disgusting!!! 2pieces of fish smaller than a chicken tenderloin!!!!I call the store to complain and the girl takes my details and tells me that when they run out of fish they give you pieces that make up enough to a fillet... I didn't get enough for 1 fillet let alone 2... after much discussion I am asked to return the next day for a full refund. Today I returned to the store and apparently the manager got my details to contact me and has said to the girl (who was the one that answered my call) to tell me that the flatheads were expensive but really??? I am happy to pay for the chips but $20 worth of chips!!!I still haven't heard back from manager about this and am disgusted that they are even attempting to discuss the issue. Here goes the warning and btw... we know our fish very well and were given flake instead of flathead.
Now called Windy's Bakehouse And Cafe, this little place is a traditional bakery with cafe tables for dining. The coffee and cake were quite good and reasonably priced, the service was a little slow (though not unpleasant) and the bathroom was not as clean and tidy as it could have been (a little smelly on our visit). It is an odd setting, in that there is a water view offering potential for a rather nice outlook, though somewhat obscured by the plants and car park; as well, as cafe is situated next to a gym, it is a tad peculiar when the exercise spills into the car park at times. Nonetheless, it is what it is, and it is a fair enough place to stop in for a 'cuppa' and baked snack.
