Harrah’s Laughlin Beach Resort Casino

I came for a getaway on a Monday night. The room was MID. Smelled like dirty feet and mold, but it was comped by a friend so I didn't want to complain. The A/C was horrible. I was expecting to blast it and snuggle in the blankets. No. Nice getaway, but no high standards for this Casino.

I liked the layout and the vibe of the casino. Free drinks as long as you're gambling. We enjoyed the river and the beach area. It was 114 outside and the river was cold.Rented a car and drove to Vegas. About 90 minutes away. Had a blast! Bullhead city has all the little things you might need. Walmart , target, cheaper gas etc.. The recreational marijuana is way cheaper in AZ! We visited JARS (15min) dispensary in bullhead city. They were friendly, very informative and professional. Top shelf!Rooms: We stayed in the south tower. Our room was recently renovated. It was clean and quiet.There were a few downsides no mirrors except the bathroom. Only 1 electric outlet available in the room.But all in all a great trip!Nearby activities: Rent a car and go see some sites. Recreational marijuana is priced right in AZ. It seems that NV is way up there on taxes.Harrah's has a bus that runs to the Tropicana every 2 hours. Because you ain't walking anywhere from this resort.Safety: Never felt unsafe or anything.Walkability: Harrah's is away from everything. You can walk from casino to casino only if you take the bus into the strip and then walk the river walk.Food drinks: You can use your rewards points to eat and do just about anything you want. They convert the points dollar for dollar. So the value was better than our local casino.If course free drinks as long as you are gambling.

A group of us went for multiple celebrations and soooo disappointed, What happened Caesars? The rooms were disgusting, tiny and really old, there was blood by main elevator buttons in Central Tower the whole time we were there, never cleaned that up, Elevators so dangerous, panels falling off and the doors closed on my husband and we had to pry the doors open, Casino waitresses were rude, our group were major players and half of us work in service industry Big tippers) never got drinks half the time and when we did, they were wrong! The only good time was at Beach Cafe and the pool, Really Disappointed and ended up spending our dollars at other casinos on the riverRooms: GrossSafety: Dangerous elevators Central Tower

I was very disappointed in my stay there. The rooms were shabby and didn't have a coffee maker or fridge. They were able to assist me with a fridge which I'm grateful for that. We stayed in the North tower.....do NOT stay there. The food court has a really bad smell like raw sewage making it hard to even just pass through let alone eat. The desk staff was rude I called 7 different times trying for info and the calls 5 times disconnected due to error the other times I was just hung up on. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere when visiting Laughlin.

This is a casino, so it is what it is. They want your money and they will give you free drinks. As long as you were playing.. Booking in was very easy through my charter trip.. It is just that it is in the middle of nowhere and you have to take a ride to get anywhere.. Prices of course are outrageous for pops out of their little shops. They have 2 pools, one is a family pool. The other is the adult pool where they have the drinks. It was nice somewhat small, but if you were there early enough to get a chair, it was better. They provided the pool towels which were very big and thick.Nearby activities: The only thing nearby is being able to walk down to the Colorado river. Other than that, you have to take a charger bus taxi, Uber to go anywhere.Safety: Only 2 elevators were working to go to the rooms and they sounded OK. Personal safety, I felt safe..Walkability: The hotel is set up very well for a mobility scooter to get around very easy..Food drinks: As long as you're playing games, they will give you free drinks. But once you walk out of there and go to the pool, it is $17 for a mix drink and $10 for a beer.Noteworthy details: Lasagna free vacation through a casino charter. The rooms are very spacious, and the South Tower needs updated, but it was not bad for being free.
