Bidra med feedbackBret who is the supervisor of this establishment is a disrespectful, rude piece of ****. He needs to take his personal issues and leave them at home and not bring them to work. Honestly this establishment would be way better if he wasn't there.
Terrible experience. A group of us went to dinner to celebrate a birthday. Our waiter was obviously having a terrible day, I did not see him crack a smile the entire time. We waited over an hour for our meal. When we finally got our meals the food seemed decent, although my bfs food was still cooking? Along with my asparagus? Odd. My food in particular was terrible, I ordered scallops and asparagus. My scallops were so over cooked and rubbery..they were laying on a bed of rice pilaf? It seemed more like a pile of mush with scattered mushrooms. At the end of the meal our waiter brought out chocolate covered strawberries..and you wouldn't believe what came a long with that. A CRICKET! We had a cricket jumping across our table and in our food. Never have I had such a horrible experience.
I walked to the entrance with no reservation and it turned out that although the Aquarius was filled with tourists, they weren't eating here this Friday evening. I was seated at a window table in no time at all. Because of the early sunsets at this time of the year, the view wasn't as good as other times of the year. It was soon dark and I could see some lights and a dark river. Regardless, it was a relaxing, quiet restaurant. My server was a very friendly woman. I noticed that the menu stated that if a pasta specialty is ordered, it comes with soup or salad. When I asked for the soup of the day, I really didn't want minestrone, so I went with the house salad which is greens with some black olive slices, some chick peas, grape tomatoes tossed in their Asiago dressing. It was a good sized salad and was a nice start. For the main course, I ordered pollo de Bella which the menu describes as: Roasted chicken, pear tomatoes and organic mushroom Marsala cream sauce tossed in penne pasta. For this and the salad, a server asked if I wanted freshly grated cheese and pepper. I got both and it added to the flavor of the dishes. For dessert, I got what was described as a chocolate Oreo cheesecake. It was very rich and quite good! The check called it German chocolate cheesecake so I'm not sure of the correct name. There were chocolate pieces with Oreo cookie crumbles, and it was very good! This was something new to try at the Aquarius. Because Laughlin is such a river town with water sports, winter is really off season and many restaurants close during the first weeks of December to open before Christmas and stay open through New Years. One must check to see what's available. I definitely will be back to the Vineyard. Hopefully it will be when I can see the scenery for a longer period of time. Planning on my part will be needed!
Don't come here if they are within 40 minutes of closing even on the weekend. All I wanted was a nice quiet spot for a glass of wine and an appetizer. The hostess will definitely look at her watch and remind you when they close and try to direct you to other bars so you will go elsewhere and that's exactly what I did. And will never return.
Had a decent time our room was clean and a river view of the Colorado river! They had plenty of slots to choose from and walking distance to everything lol totes recommended!Food drinks: Just down the street from in and out burger ?
