Percys Jerk Hut - Laurelton

I absolutely love their jerk chicken! It's always moist, flavorful, and fresh. My only complaint is that they charge for sauces on the side. I believe I should be allowed to add the sauce myself without an extra fee instead of them adding it for me at no charge. Today, I tried their oxtail for the first time, and wow… it was incredibly delicious! The rice and peas were spot on; I could enjoy it on its own. I ordered a small size, and it was more than enough for me—unlike other restaurants where a small size only includes three pieces of oxtail. As long as their food remains consistent, I will definitely keep returning. I have no issues with the woman who serves me; she’s always pleasant.

It's utterly ridiculous that they charge $1.60 if I request the sauce on the side for my jerk pork instead of on top. This is a terrible policy and a reflection of poor customer service. Interestingly, there's no charge if the sauce is simply added to the order. Shaking my head at this!

Avoid this restaurant at all costs! I usually order from the Elmont location but accidentally contacted this one instead. Since I had already placed my order, I decided to go through with it. Unfortunately, I ended up spending over $70 on what can only be described as spoiled pea soup that was essentially just water (there was no meat, and the peas seemed to have been dumped straight from a can), flavorless jerk chicken, and inedible pork. My dogs wouldn't even eat the food. Do yourself a favor and stick to the Elmont location. To the owner: there's really no point in trying to make this right since the food was so terrible that I'll just chalk it up as a loss. Additionally, while I was ordering, the staff was arguing— a clear sign I should've walked away. Please do better!

Jerk salmon was disappointing. not worth the money at all. and they try to coverup the small, ungrilled salmon with gravy and vegetables. very upset, felt like i wasted my money

The jerk ribs were not tasty, I was disappointed as this was my first time eating there. The ribs were hard not seasoned properly
