Bourbon Barrel - Laurie

We enjoyed a fantastic meal and received excellent service during our recent visit. We are looking forward to returning again tonight.

The restaurant is very basic, with high prices for average food and a terrible wine selection. The only positive aspect was the great service.

The food and drinks at this restaurant are top-notch. I'm happy they have reopened! I hope they bring back lunch service at some point, but dinner and drinks are still the main draw for me to keep coming back. Definitely worth a stop on this side of the lake.

My husband and I went to the Bourbon Barrel for dinner and cocktails. Glad we had reservations as it looked pretty full. It was quiet and decorated as a speakeasy. Soft lighting and comfortable. Our server Trace was helpful and friendly. My husband had the French onion soup and rainbow trout and I had a very fresh salad and Nashville Chicken. Delicious! For drinks... we ordered sidecars. So the bartender looked up how to make them and they were very good! They are going to put the drink on the menu . I highly recommend this place and will return for sure!

The food was very good when you finally received it. The service was horrible. It really wasn't our server fault it's pretty much like everywhere else. Not enough help. And what they have are very over work.
