P.f. Chang’s - Laval

We had high hopes for this restaurant but were disappointed by the poor quality of the food. The oil used in cooking was of low quality and did not enhance the dishes. Adding to our dissatisfaction, we were charged $50 for an item we did not order, and no apology was given. The staff attempted to justify the error, but when we escalated it to the manager, there was no resolution. We advise double-checking your bill before making payment at this establishment.

Every time I decide to go to P.F. Chang's, it's always a great pleasure. However, last night, on May 13th, 2022, was the second time that I had a bad experience, which was enough for me to decide to stop going there. Don't get me wrong, the table service is impeccable, but the food presentation and quality are questionable. This is the second time that my friend and I ordered the Crispy Honey Chicken (which had no honey in it) and my friend's portion was noticeably smaller than mine, despite us paying the same price. When we brought this up to our server, they offered a small additional portion that was not as good as the original plate. This was disappointing. As I began to eat, I found a black hair on my plate, which completely turned me off. The server quickly took my plate and offered not to charge us for the order or to replace it because I had lost my appetite. We declined and realized that P.F. Chang's was no longer one of our favorite restaurants. While the service at the table deserves 5 stars, I can only give 2 stars for the quality and portion of the food. I apologize for this review, but this experience was unacceptable and needs to be addressed. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, that is no excuse for such subpar quality. I want to remember all the good times I had there, which were just amazing.

Once again, this restaurant did not let us down. We started by ordering drinks and then took some time to savor them before ordering our appetizers and main courses. The service was quick and friendly. The drinks were fantastic, the food was delicious and well-cooked, although it could have been a little hotter. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening.

Mongolian bark is the best! also tries to garnish walnut, sweet and tasty.

We had lunch with a party of 8, the food was tasty, portions were generous and almost everybody's food arrived at the same time, extra wait was short. The decor was nice. Service was fine. Will definitely go back.
