23rd Street Brewery - Lawrence

Not only is the food amazing, but the service is outstanding! We had a lunch order of over 40 people for my job and I was notified the day prior to start getting things put together. Matt and Chelsea were such a big help! They labeled each containerwith that person's name and even hand delivered the orders we were missing. I can't thank them enough for their patience,understanding and haste with this large order. We will definitely return for future business lunches.....hopefully without thelast minute notice. :

Don?t get take out from this place. I never will again. I have eaten the fish and chips there before and loved it. Take out was one over cooked ?fillet? and a ton of fries. They told me 25 minutes. It was cold when I got it home which is 3 minutes away.I?m sorry I gave them a nice tip, considering all they did was their job and not very well at that. There was no serviceinvolved. I am horribly disappointed.

Went on a Thursday during happy hour. Not crowded. Betty was our server; helpful, friendly, patient checked back with us several times. Beers were good, Grand Margarita was disappointing (maybe because I make really good ones at home? , flatbreadsand fish were tasty, fries are different from what they used to be like and not as good, steak was tender and cooked perfectly,mashed potatoes and broccoli were very good. Also turned a fried pickle non believer into a fan!

Went on very busy night. Waitress was very sweet, but they were definitely not prepared for the overflow. Waitress brought out the wrong drink for my wife and we didn?t get the right one for over an HOUR. After about 40 minutes I went in to order adrink at the bar for my wife , because I figured it wasn?t coming, and the lady bartender was extremely rude. Not my fault youcan?t handle ?the weeds?. To top it all off, I got food poisoning from their meal and had to miss watching the Jayhawks go 4-0first the first time in years. Horrible experience!!!

My job ordered some food it was amazing shout out Matt. The food consisted of a beautiful gourmet salad sliders and potatoes. The food was hot and fresh I had to make a to go plate after eating.
