Those with differing views might react to this like they do with many things, but this is a reality. Problems like early closures, app issues, incorrect orders, and cleanliness are legitimate concerns that every customer has the right to raise. But as a regular visitor—stopping by for coffee every day and snacks every few days—I can tell you that 95% of these issues stem from the lack of staffing and high employee turnover affecting businesses nationwide. Regarding the turnover rate, just take a look at the tone of some of these comments. Would you want to start your first job as a teenager only to be met with such anger? Again, I'm not saying customers don’t have the right to be frustrated (though how they express that frustration is another matter), but I would ask for a bit of patience towards these workers. While nurses and doctors are rightfully hailed as the real heroes of America, fast food workers—who likely face a COVID infection rate comparable to that of healthcare workers—receive little to no respect. It’s unfortunate, especially considering that many Americans’ biggest challenge right now is just a tired Netflix queue.
The woman with the purple hair prepared my iced coffee perfectly! It's clear that she enjoys her job. I would give her a five-star rating, while everyone else gets four stars.
