Fairgrounds Drive-in - Lawrenceburg

Was my first time there and I must say they have the best hotdogs in town. I have lived nearby for 30 years and finally stopped in. Why did I wait so long. Awesome food!

Family owned and operated! It's just a lil roadside diner. You can call your orders in or order there. It's take out only and everything is cooked as ordered. The family everyone of them are so sweet and kind. The food is always great. I stop in there everytime I get a chance, its one of my favorite little places to go for a good Cheeseburger, Coney,Pork tenderloin Sandwich just to name a few. Everyone should try it out. Their burgers and Chili dogs have been voted best in Anderson county for many many years. 10+

I've eaten here for decades, I'm not sure how long the current owners of this food have been doing. One thing is certain the chili dogs are the best ever, homemade sauce and onions are what I like. French Fries are made to order, never asggy as fast food places. The burgers are hand-shaped and cooked when ordering. There are many other items on the menu, I put what I like to eat. I tried other articles on the menu and was never disappointed, ever... I think this place actually deserves a great reputation, so I take time from my day before I roll out and get some food for the family. For small towns, this iconic part of Lawrenceburg is the best.

You have the largest Coney Islands and hot, crispy knitter fries! They always offer to add shredded cheese on the Coneys, but I prefer them without. I love piling on some chopped onions, and it’s simply heavenly! I have a particular preference for my Coney sauce and fries. The Fairgrounds also serves a fantastic deluxe burger that everyone would enjoy. Another treat they make in-house is their cakes and other desserts. Your chocolate cream pie is almost as good as my mom's! But make sure to arrive early, as they sell out quickly! Be sure to call days in advance for whole cakes; they're definitely worth it! I brought chocolate cream and coconut cream pies to a reunion, and they disappeared in just 10 minutes!
