Aha Sushi - Lawrenceville

We've been ordering sushi from this place for several years. It's takeout only, and we usually get it at least twice a month. The sushi has consistently been fresh and of high quality. The couple who run the restaurant are very friendly as well.

I had a disappointing experience with my sushi order tonight. The rice was not the seasoned sushi rice I expected; instead, it was plain and lacking in flavor. The sauce on the eel rolls was unappetizing—I couldn’t even taste the eel because there was so little of it, and it was completely overwhelmed by the sauce. Overall, the entire meal was quite bland. While the fish didn’t seem to be of poor quality, it was just raw fish wrapped in steamed rice. I can usually finish a mediocre sushi meal, but this one was inedible for me. We ordered around six or seven rolls, and not a single one was enjoyable. Most of it ended up in the trash. I left very disappointed.

This was our third time here and won't be last they are amazing very consistent and delicious. Everything is always fresh. Definitely recommend this place!

This is the worst sushi I've ever eaten. The rice was dry and tasted old. The quality of the fish was just as bad. I've had sushi from the chinese buffet that was better than this. Save your money.

A solid suburban sushi spot! I met a friend for lunch and the prices were very fair. I ordered two rolls and a hot tea, and I think it was about $19. The service was very nice, but also very slow and we were in a bit of a hurry. They had a pretty wide menu and a bunch of types of sushi rolls. I am a sucker for a good avocado/cucumber roll (basic, I know) and theirs was rolled perfectly. I also had a spicy tuna roll and it was pretty light! I love spicy tuna, but I don't like when it's weighed down with tons of mayo. This was not. The rolls were a generous size and the tea was served in a kettle. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. they only have inside seating and I visited at a pretty dead time, so there wasn't too much to worry about. My friend and I were the only people in there for most of the entire experience.I would return to this place if it was on my way!
