Uncle Jack’s Tavern - Lawrenceville

We waited over an hour for mediocre food. The entrees were very expensive and the side dishes were $15-20 each. The ambience was fine. This place is highly overpriced. Do not waste your money.

We've been going to Uncle Jack's since the first one opened in the area (Duluth . This is the second time we've been to Lawrenceville and this was our worst Uncle Jack's experience. I brought two college students there one of which was having a birthday/ Neither had been to Uncle Jack's before. We ordered the bacon app they didn't provide any plates when the app was delivered so we had to ask for them. Then the mains arrived we hadn't been given napkins or utensils so we had to ask for them. We ran out of drinks several times before receiving refills. One of the burgers we ordered had BBQ on it (it wasn't supposed to. Then when they mentioned desserts they didn't even mention the fact that we had a birthday (I had specified this when I made the reservation. All of these things are customer service 101. Terrible server with mediocre food. Seemed like she was under the influence of something. Didn’t write down our order and of course we then didn’t get everything we ordered. When we asked about the forgotten items we were told they would be out in just a second and the server disappeared again for 30 min. By that time we no longer were hungry and didn’t want the food. Finally another server came to check on us and sent a manager over. Manager even said that that he didn’t know what was wrong with that particular server and that she was all over the place that night.

The service and food has changed. They must have changed management.

Service was horrible. Our server and the manager were both very unobservant and not attentive at all, even after we escalated the delays with our food and drinks, no improvement. We probably will not be going back.
