Bidra med feedbackWe were in Avignon for the festival and met our friends from New York for dinner. What a beautiful experience! The hotel and restaurant have all the charm of the South of France. The dinner was exquisite: a beautifully composed Symphony of savors! The chef and his wife greeted each table. They are warm, lovely people. The wine Stuart's recommendations were spot on. We ordered the full meal and had a magical evening. The price is quite reasonable for the quality of the meal.
We ate here two nights for dinner and would highly recommend. The three course meal was quite expensive but worth it. The wines were excellent and very reasonably priced. We had the fish entree, the hazelnut dessert.
We stayed at the hotel for four nights and ate both one dinner and one lunch. The duck and lamb were both outstanding. The wine list and recommendations are impressive. The cheese trolley was a great treat as were the desserts. Plan to spend 80-$110 plus wine per person for dinner and about one-that price. Beautifully presented and great service. The chef's wife stops by each table to chat with guests. Garden/Patio setting unless the Mistral is a blowing--and then it's inside dining. Overall--worthy.
When we book the hotel, we hear high recommendation for their restaurant. We had menu with kabeliauw fish, but in my opinion, it really has no taste. We had eaten from one star to three stars restaurant in differnt places, but this one only look good in their presentation.
We really like to visit one fine dine restaurant during our stay in Provance and this was the right choice. Nice place, great staff and deligtful food. My choice for the best dish is cheese plate or table, as you like. It is a little bit expensive but this is that kind of place and we expected such a price. Worth to visit.
