Latchstring - Lead

Ate 2022 Thanksgiving supper there. Every single item I had was amazing! Literally every side was perfect. My only wish was that there was Mac and cheese. However, the rest of the food made up for it. Our server (name escapes me) was really great. Friendly and attentive. We actually had supper the very next day. Our server Josh was very helpful and informative of the menu. Had the curds, chislick, and country fried steak. All excellent! Leftovers the next day we're great also!

Their breakfast is fantastic! Pancakes were some of the best I've ever had. Great flavor with all of our orders. The French toast and sausage links were so good. I ordered a breakfast burrito, not my usual choice but it was what our server suggested and it did not disappoint. It was huge but loaded with flavor and homemade salsa. The night before my sister had her wedding there and they served prime rib and a lemon zest panko breaded kind of salmon. The salmon was to die for and everyone who had prime rib was raving about it. The presentation of it was beautiful too, served with colorful mix of vegetables and roasted potatoes.

Went in the off season so it wasn't at all busy. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful view from the window we sat by, and the bird feeder out there was very busy! The grackles here are so much more colorful than the grackles in Wisconsin, I'm not sure why since it's the same species. But they were absolutely gorgeous! The food was excellent. I had fish in a creamy white wine sauce over corn cakes and it was FANTASTIC! I would order it again if I get the chance to go back. We also had the chislic appetizer which was delicious, and their french fries were really good!

It's still right over spearfish falls it's beautiful. Food and service are great busiest time of day is between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. enjoy your cocktail/ sparkling beverage or just enjoy some great coffee or tea. There's the bakery on site, lots of great desserts and always dinner specials. They also serve great breakfast 7:00 a.m. to 11:00

My family and I had the prime rib dinner. It was amazing! We got their homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and Butter Finger cheesecakes for dessert and they did not disappoint! HUGE slices piled high with candy. Service was also great! Our server, Maddy, was very nice and accommodating!
